There is a lot of discussion about whether animals should be kept in 2006.
Some people claim that it is cruel because wild animals need their freedom and like lots of space. They also argue that the British climate is not suitable for many wild animals and they are never completely healthy. A further point they make is that they might just as well watch nature films.
However, there are also good arguments against this point of view. Zoo owner argue that they now make great efforts to make sure animal are kept in a space similar to their own environment. They say that animals can cope with different climates as long as their diet is right. Furthermore they claim that they serve an important purpose by breeding rare animals that are dying out in the wild.

JUHHA'S WONDERS
Written by Sheikha Al Shukeili
Once upon a time, there was a very small village in Baghdad. It's population is very small. In this village every body knew each other and knew every little or big problem that went on in the village. In this small village there was bakery, which was popular for its delicious bread. One day a poor old was walking in the street passing the bakery and stopped to smell the scent of the bread which was spreading out of the bakery.
Suddenly, the baker caught the old man and shouted at him demanding the price of the bread's smell? He nearly took him to the police.
A very famous wise man named Juhha heard the baker shouting. So, he went to him and asked about the problem. Juhha stood calmly listening to the baker and the thought of a solution.
After a few minutes Juhha's eyes glittered and an amused smile was on his face. He asked the baker, "How much money do you want?" The baker and poor man were astonished, but the baker answered, "3 dinar". Juhha took the money out of his wallet and put it in his pocket and shook the money. "Did you hear the sound of the money?"
